Let’s Get You Prepared
for Motherhood
emotionally + logistically
Let’s Talk Before Baby is a space for expectant moms who want to prepare not just for the baby, but for the life that comes after. Think of it as part journal, part checklist, part late-night chat with a friend who’s walked the road.
What you’ll find here:
🗂️ Realistic prep for post-baby logistics (meals, boundaries, help, time)
🌀 Tools to protect your mental and emotional health
🗣️ Conversation starters for navigating your relationships as they shift
📓 Resources to reflect on what you want to carry into motherhood
This isn’t about doing it all or doing it perfectly. It’s about preparing your world to hold you, so you can hold your baby, without losing yourself.
Let’s talk before baby.
Because you matter, too.
Hi, I’m Lauren!
Before I became a mom, I thought we were ready.
We had the gear. The printed birth plan. The onesies washed. The “how hard can it be?” optimism.
What we didn’t have were the real conversations. About identity shifts. About who we’d become. About how heavy it might all feel sometimes, even with so much more love surrounding us.
Motherhood cracked me open. It was beautiful, and brutal. I love my kids more than anything. But I also missed me.
And I kept thinking: Why didn’t anyone talk about this before?
That’s why I started Let’s Talk Before Baby. To help moms-to-be slow down and get clear on what matters before the baby arrives. To think through things like:
— Who do you actually want in your village
— How to set boundaries
— What kind of mom you want to be
— Including your partner in the planning in a way that actually supports you
— How to protect your mental health and stay grounded when everything changes
This is about walking into motherhood with more intention, more support, and a stronger sense of you.
I’m so glad you’re here.
